In the village of Krasen, Ivanovo Municipality, every year at the end of May “Mushroom Festival” is held. It is very attractive for lovers of exotic specialties and local folklore.

Legend has it that the first humans descended from mushrooms. Maybe that’s why in the village of Krasen mushrooms are especially revered. The people of the village claim that more than a hundred dishes can be made from mushrooms. On this day, people from all over the municipality gather in the square in the center of the village, to have fun together. The holiday attracts guests from all over the country and from abroad. Particular attention is paid to the culinary competition – an exhibition with tasting “Mushroom delicacies”, which presents various specialties of mushrooms – appetizers, hors d’oeuvres, main dishes and sweets. Mushrooms must be locally produced. A special jury determines the winners of the culinary competition. Products are diverse and unique, created with exceptional imagination and experience by local women and men.

The holiday program also includes:

• “Mushroom fantasies” – an exhibition of drawings and applied art;

• “In the world of the mushroom” – an exhibition of fresh canned mushrooms;

• performances of folk amateur dance groups by young and old dancers, vocal groups and singers from the municipality.

Intention

In the village of Krasen, Ivanovo Municipality, is the largest mushroom factory on the Balkan Peninsula. Therefore, the livelihood of the people from the Municipality and the “Mushroom Festival” are connected with this producer. In my opinion, the Festival is of great importance to us because it is an advertisement of the product and our folklore. It attracts tourists as well as manufacturers and traders associated with this product.

В с. Красен, Община Иваново, всяка година в края на месец май се провежда “Фестивал на гъбата”. Той е много атрактивен за любителите на екзотични специалитети и на местния фолклор.

Легендата разказва, че първите хора са произлезли от гъбите. Може би затова в село Красен гъбите са на особена почит. Хората от селото твърдят, че от тях могат да се направят повече от сто ястия.

На този ден хора от цялата община се събират на площада в центъра на селото, пред кметството, за да се веселят заедно. Празникът привлича гости от цялата страна и от чужбина. Особено внимание се отделя на кулинарният конкурс – изложба с дегустация „Гъбени вкусотии”, в която се представят различни специалитети от гъби – предястия, ордьоври, основни ястия и сладки. Гъбите трябва да са местно производство. Специално жури определя победителите в кулинарния конкурс. Представените продукти са разнообразни и уникални, създадени с изключително въображение и опит от местните жени и мъже.

Празничната програма включва още:

„Гъбени фантазии” – изложба на рисунки и приложно изкуство;
„В света на гъбата„ – изложба на пресни консервирани гъби;
изпълнения на фолклорни самодейни танцови състави от малки и големи танцьори, вокални групи и певци от общината.

Намерение

В с. Красен, Община Иваново, е най-големият гъбозавод на Балканския полуостров. Ето защо, с този производител е свързан поминъкът на хората от Общината и “Фестивалът на гъбата”. По мое мнение, Фестивалът е от голямо значение за нас, защото е реклама на продукта и на нашия фолклор. Той привлича, както туристи, така и производители и търговци, свързани с този продукт.

Im Dorf Krasen, das zum Bezirk Ivanovo gehört, wird jedes Jahr Ende Mai das “Pilz-Festival” gefeiert. Es ist sehr beliebt bei Liebhabern exotischer Spezialitäten und lokaler Folklore.

Der Legende nach stammen die ersten Menschen von Pilzen ab. Vielleicht ist das der Grund, warum im Dorf Krasen Pilze sehr veehrt werden. Die Einwohner behaupten stolz, dass sie mehr als hundert Pilzgerichte zubereiten können. Am Tag des Pilzfestivals treffen sich Menschen aus allen Teilen des Bezirks auf dem zentralen Dorfplatz, um sich miteinander zu amüsieren. Der Feiertag zieht Gäste aus dem ganzen Land und sogar aus dem Ausland an. Ein Highlight ist dabei immer der kulinarische Wettbewerb – eine Ausstellung namens “Pilzdelikatessen” zum Probieren, mit Köstlichkeiten wie Appetithäppchen, Hors d’oeuvres, Hauptgerichten und Nachspeisen. Die Pilze müssen dabei von regionaler Herkunft sein. Eine eigens ausgewählte Jury bestimmt die Sieger*innen des kulinarischen Wettbewebs. Die Produkte sind sehr unterschiedlich und einzigartig, zubereitet mit dem großen Ideenreichtum und der langjährigen Erfahrung der hiesigen Frauen und Männer.

Das Programm des Feiertags umfasst auch:

“Pilz Fantasien” – eine Ausstellung, bei der Zeichnungen und Kunsthandwerk präsentiert werden;
“Die Welt der Pilze” – eine Ausstellung mit frisch konservierten Pilzen;
Auftritten der Folklore-Tanzgruppen der Amateure, bei denen junge und ältere Tänzer*innen, Gesangsgruppen und Sänger*innen des Bezirks ihr Bestes geben.

Intention

Im Dorf Krasen, Ivanovo, steht die größte Pilzfabrik der Balkanhalbinsel. Darum sind die Einwohner von Ivanovo und das Festival eng mit dem Unternehmen verbunden. Meiner Meinung nach ist das Festival sehr wichtig, weil es das Produkt und unsere Folklore bewirbt. Es zieht ebenso Touristen an wie andere Pilzproduzent*innen und -händler*innen.
