Description
Doina is a lyrical, vocal or instrumental creation, specific to Romanians, in which the unknown author expresses directly his feelings of longing, mourning, rebellion, sadness, love, etc.; which we find in important documents of the time (Dimitrie Cantemir, B.P. Hasdeu, Nicolae Iorga, Franz Joseph Sulzer, etc.).
Doina is also the term for a type of popular literature, in which the author expresses his feelings and convictions towards some problems of life, about time and nature and himself; which is included from October 2, 2009 on the list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage UNESCO.
Intention
I personally love “doina”. In this context I would like to mention that as a founder of the “Fratia” Society, founded over 20 years ago, I cultivated within the members of this society, the love for the popular music; and with other folklore lovers, I performed several popular songs, also at cultural symposiums.

Doina este o creație lirică, vocală sau instrumentală, specifică românilor, în care autorul necunoscut își exprimă în mod direct sentimentele de dor, de jale, de revoltă, tristețe, iubire, etc ; pe care o găsim în importante documente ale epocii (Dimitrie Cantemir, B.P. Hașdeu, Nicolae Iorga, Franz Joseph Sulzer, etc.).
Doina este numită și o specie a literaturii populare, în care autorul își exprimă sentimentele și convingerile față de unele probleme ale vieții, față de timp și natură și față de sine însuși; care este inclusă din 2 octombrie 2009 pe lista Patrimoniului Cultural Imaterial al Umanitâții UNESCO.
Intenția
Personal iubesc „doina“. În acest sens menţionez că în calitate de fondator al Societăţii FRĂŢIA, fondată cu peste 20 de ani, am cultivat în cadrul membrilor acestei societîţi, dragostea faţă de muzica populară; iar alături de alţi iubitori de folclor, am interpretat mai multe melodii populare, inclusiv in cadrul unor simpozioane culturale.

Doina ist ein lyrisches, instrumentelles oder gesungenes Musikstück, und typisch rumänisch. In einer Doina werden Gefühle ausgedrückt: Sehnsüchte, Trauer, Rebellion, Traurigkeit, Liebe, und so weiter. Sie ist in wichtigen geschichtlichen Dokumenten zu finden (Dimitrie Cantemir, B.P. Hasdeu, Nicolae Iorga, Franz Joseph Sulzer, etc.).
Doina ist auch ein Name für eine bestimmte Form beliebter Literatur. Auch hier werden Gefühle und Überzeugungen beschrieben – und sie betreffen aktuelle Probleme, die Natur, die Zeit oder den Autor oder die Autorin selbst. Die Doina ist seit dem 2. Oktober 2009 auf der Liste des immateriellen Kulturerbes von UNESCO.
Intention
Ich persönlich liebe „doina”. Dazu möchte ich gerne erwähnen, dass ich Mitgründer der „Fratia” Gesellschaft bin. Diese gibt es seit über zwanzig Jahren und ihre Mitglieder widmen sich in ihr gemeinsam ihrer Liebe für populäre Musik. Gemeinsam mit anderen Folklore-Liebhabern habe ich mehrere populäre Lieder vorgetragen, auch bei kulturellen Symposien.
