Description
The Romanian Macramé is a handmade product to produce ornaments.
Compared to the Macramé known in Germany, it’s not a knotting technique, but uses two techniques: crocheting and embroidery.
First a string is crocheted, which is sewn onto a painted cloth as a contour. Then the spaces in between are embroidered. The pattern size depends on whether a tablecloth is to be created or a decoration for chest of drawers, display cases, armchairs etc.
The production of such tablecloths is very laborious and takes a lot of time. In good weather, the string was usually crocheted outside in a neighbourly circle and was used to make the tablecloths in winter.
Intention
In the middle of the last century the production of Macramés was a very popular craft, which was passed onto the following generations and had a special charm.
Today they are no longer modern, the production of the crocheted blankets is mainly done by machine. I think that especially in time of industrialization and the modern media, it is important that people get together again, talk and exchange ideas and thereby revive this craft. I could help us to relax in our hectic everyday life.

Das rumänische Macrame ist eine Handarbeit zur Herstellung von Ornamenten. Es ist im Vergleich zu dem in Deutschland bekannten Makramee keine Knüpftechnik, sondern verwendet zwei Techniken: Häkeln und Sticken.
Zuerst wird eine Schnur gehäkelt. Diese wird als Kontur auf ein bemaltes Tuch aufgenäht. Danach werden die Zwischenräume ausgestickt. Die Mustergröße ist abhängig davon, ob eine Tischdecke entstehen soll oder Schmuck für Kommoden, Vitrinen, Sessel u.s.w. .
Die Herstellung solcher Tischdecken ist sehr mühsam und braucht viel Zeit.
Die Schnur wurde meistens bei schönem Wetter draußen in nachbarschaftlicher Runde gehäkelt. Im Winter wurden dann die Decken daraus gefertigt.
Intention
Die Herstellung von Macrames war in der Mitte des vorigen Jahrhunderts ein sehr beliebtes Handwerk, das an die Folgegenerationen weitergegeben wurde und hatte einen besonderen Charme. Heute sind sie nicht mehr modern, die Herstellung der gehäkelten Decken erfolgt überwiegend maschinell.
Gerade in Zeiten der Industrialisierung und moderner Medien, finde ich es wichtig, dass Menschen wieder zusammen kommen, sich unterhalten und austauschen und dabei diese Handwerkskunst wiederbeleben. Dies könnte in unserem hektischen Alltag der Entspannung dienen.

Macrame-ul românesc este un lucru de mȋna manual pentru confecționarea de ornamente.
Comparativ cu macrameul cunoscute în Germania, nu este o tehnică de înnodare, ci folosește două tehnici: croșetat și broderie.
Mai întâi se croşetează un cordon, un șnur Acest șnur se coase pe conturul unei pînze pe care este imprimat modelul. Apoi, golurile sunt brodate. Mărimea modelelor depinde de uzul lor,ca fețe de masă sau ornamente pentru comode, vitrine, fotolii.
Producerea unor astfel de fețe de masă este foarte migaloasă și durează mult timp.
Şnurul se croşetează deobicei in timpul verii, cu vecinele, la poveşti, pe o bancă Fețele de masă se brodau de obicei în timpul iernii.
Intentia
Confecționarea macramurilor a fost un meșteșug foarte popular la mijlocul secolului trecut, şi a fost transmis generațiilor următoare. Confecționarea macrameurilor are un farmec aparte, dar din păcate in zilele noastre numai sunt moderne.Lucrul manual a fost ȋnlocuit ȋn mare parte de cel masinal .
Mai ales în perioadele de industrializare și mass-media moderne, cred că este important ca oamenii să revină la vechile tradiții, să discute și să facă schimb de experiență . Reȋnvierea acestei îndeletniciri, ar putea servi drept relaxare în viața noastră cotidiană agitată.
