I
found out that one of the tradition regarding weddings is very interesting to me, such as bouquet-tossing
ceremony. Once the wedding ceremony is
over, all girls gather around for the tossing ceremony. There is a belief that the girl who catches is the
next one to marry.
Another
custom is shooting the apple in the bride’s yard. The father of the bride
places an apple on the highest branch of the tree and the groom cannot marry
the girl until he shoots the apple down with his gun.
Another
very interesting tradition is when the wedding guests gather in front of the groom’s house after the
wedding ceremony. Then, the bride throws the sieve with grains on the roof. It
is believed that it brings happiness and health to the family.
Intention
The
most beautiful tradition which reminds me of a fairytale is when the newlyweds
ride in the chariot.
Wedding tradition is a dreamlike and very beautiful. I feel sorry that tradition is not that psesent anymore, and therefore all weddings look alike, and the magic is almost gone.

Najzastupljeniji i najpoznatiji običaji kod Srba su običaji životnog ciklusa, koji su vezi sa venčanjem, rođenjem, odlaskom u vojsku…
Meni su veoma zanimljivi običaji vezani za svadbu, na primer bacanje bidermajera. Kada se završi ceremonija venčanja, mlada baca bidermajer. Devojka koja uhvati buket, po narodnom verovanju je sledeća za udaju.
Još jedan od lepih običaja je gađanje jabuke u mladinom dvorištu. Mladin otac postavlja jabuku na najviše drvo, a mladoženja ne može odvesti mladu sve dok puškom ne pogodi jabuku.
Vrlo zanimljiv običaj je kada svatovi dođu ispred mladoženjine kuće posle venčanja. Tada mlada baca sito sa žitom na krov kuće. Veruje se da će to doneti sreću i blagostanje u porodici.
Namera
Najlepši običaj koji me podseća na bajku je vožnja mladenaca kočijama.
Svadbeni običaji su bajkoviti i veoma lepi. Žao mi je što su sve manje prisutni i što svadbe počinju da liče jedna na drugu, pa čarolija nestaje. Želela bih da svadba uvek bude jedna divna bajka.

Ich habe herausgefunden, dass einge der Traditionen in Bezug auf Hochzeiten für mich sehr interessant sind, wie zum Beispiel die Zeremonie des Straußwerfens. Wenn die Hochzeitszeremonie vorbei ist, versammeln sich alle Mädchen, um den Strauß zu werfen. Es herrscht der Glaube, dass das Mädchen, das den Strauß fängt, als nächstes heiratet.
Ein weiterer Brauch ist das Apfelschießen im Garten der Braut. Der Vater der Braut legt einen Apfel auf den höchsten Ast des Baumes, und der Bräutigam kann das Mädchen erst heiraten, wenn er den Apfel mit seinem Gewehr abschießt.
Eine weitere sehr interessante Tradition ist, dass sich die Hochzeitsgäste nach der Trauung vor dem Haus des Bräutigams versammeln. Dann wirft die Braut das Sieb mit den Körnern auf das Dach. Es wird geglaubt, dass dies der Familie Glück und Gesundheit bringt.
Absicht
Die schönste Tradition, die mich an ein Märchen erinnert, ist die Fahrt des Brautpaares im Streitwagen.
Die Hochzeitstradition ist traumhaft und sehr schön. Ich finde es schade, dass die Tradition nicht mehr so präsent ist, und deshalb sehen alle Hochzeiten gleich aus, und der Zauber ist fast verschwunden.
