Description
My name is Darina and I am from Bulgaria. My grandmother on the other hand, is from Russia. The cultural treasure that I am presenting to you through these pictures, is my favourite memory from her – typical Russian costume. She wore one of these dresses, while singing on the stage of one of the most famous Russian festivals – Сорочинский ярмарок (Sorochyntsi Fair) They represent the beauty, the courage and the love for the nature, that people in Russia possess. I am proud that I had the opportunity to wear them and they will always be part of my family.

Mein Name ist Darina und ich komme aus Bulgarien. Meine Großmutter jedoch stammt aus Russland. Der Kulturschatz, den ich euch mit diesen Bildern vorstelle, ist meine liebste Erinnerung an sie – die typisch russische Tracht. Eines dieser Kleider trug sie, als sie auf der Bühne eines der berühmtesten russischen Festivals sang – Сорочинский ярмарок (Der Jahrmarkt von Sorotschinzy) Sie stehen für die Schönheit, den Mut und die Liebe zur Natur, die die Menschen in Russland besitzen. Ich bin stolz darauf, die Möglichkeit gehabt zu haben, sie zu tragen, und sie werden immer ein Teil meiner Familie sein.
