Description
Hello! My name is Ana and I am 14 years old. Today, I would like to present to you a tradition which is still practiced in my grandparents’ village from Caras-Severin, a county between the mountains from Romania. It is believed that it brings good luck and prosperity in the family if you have a vine which grows inside, in a covered garden next to the bedrooms. The grapes which are produced by this vine are eaten by all the family members, so everyone can have good health and good luck!
Intention
Why is this cultural treasure important to you?
It is important to me because it represents a great memory with my family from when I was very little.
How is youth connected to your cultural treasure?
The vine represents the cycle of life, and when it gives grapes, it is in the most prosperous stage, the youngest one.
Is the cultural treasure you want to share typically only in your country?
No, it is not, it is just on isolated regions in the country.
How to preserve and pass on cultural heritage to younger generations?
Maybe to expose them from a very young age.
What is the way to give our knowledge to younger generations (educational system, youth festivals and holidays)?
I think that maybe the best way is through practical learning, they have to experience what we want to pass on, to make them understand why is it important.

Bună! Numele meu este Ana și am 14 ani. Astăzi aș dori să vă prezint o tradiție ce încă se păstrează în satul bunicilor mei din Caraș-Severin, un județ montan din România. Se spune că este aducător de noroc și prosperitate în familie dacă aveți o viță de vie care să crească în interiorul curții. Strugurii ce se fac se mănâncă proaspeți de către toți membrii familie, astfel încât toți să aibă parte de sănătate și noroc !

De ce este importantă pentru tine această comoară culturală?
Este important pentru mine pentru că reprezintă o amintire deosebită cu familia de când eram foarte mică.
Cum este tineretul conectat la comoara ta culturală?
Vița reprezintă ciclul vieții, iar atunci când dă rod, atinge practic apogeul, e cea mai tânără în perioada aceea.
Este comoara culturală pe care doreşți să o împărtășeşti tipică doar
țării tale?
Nu, nu este, este doar în zonele mai isolate din țară.
Cum să păstrăm și să transmitem patrimoniul cultural generațiilor
tinere?
Poate să îi lăsăm să aibă contact de la o vârstă foarte fragedă.
Care este modalitatea de a transmite cunoștințele noastre generațiilor
mai tinere (sistem educațional, festivaluri și sărbători pentru
tineret)?
Cred că cea mai bună metodă este prin învățarea practică, ei trebuie să experimenteze ce vrem noi să dăm mai departe, ca să înțeleagă de ce e important.

Hallo! Mein Name ist Ana und ich bin 14 Jahre alt. Heute möchte ich euch eine Tradition vorstellen, die im Dorf meiner Großeltern in Caras-Severin, einem Landkreis in den Bergen Rumäniens, noch immer gepflegt wird. Man besagt, dass es der Familie Glück und Wohlstand bringt, wenn man einen Weinstock hat, der in einem überdachten Garten neben den Schlafzimmern wächst. Die Trauben, die diese Rebe hervorbringt, werden von allen Familienmitgliedern gegessen, damit alle gesund und glücklich bleiben!
Intention
Warum ist dieser Kulturschatz für dich wichtig?
Er ist wichtig für mich, weil er eine schöne Erinnerung an meine Familie darstellt, als ich noch sehr klein war.
Wie ist die Jugend mit diesem Kulturschatz verbunden?
Der Weinstock steht für den Kreislauf des Lebens, und wenn er Trauben trägt, befindet er sich im fruchtbarsten, sowie auch dem jüngsten Stadium.
Ist der Kulturschatz typisch für dein Land oder deine Region?
Nein, ist er nicht, sondern nur in einzelnen Regionen des Landes.
Wie kann man das kulturelle Erbe bewahren und an jüngere Generationen weitergeben?
Vielleicht sollte man sie schon in jungen Jahren damit vertraut machen.
Wie können wir unser Wissen an jüngere Generationen weitergeben (Bildungssystem,
Jugendfestivals und -ferien)?
Ich denke, die vielleicht beste Methode ist das Lernen in der Praxis. Um zu verstehen, warum es wichtig ist, müssen sie erfahren was wir weitervermitteln wollen.
