Description
I am going to present to you the most famous Romanian beverage, țuica. Whilst the etymological origins of the word țuica are at best, unknown, it is clear that we are speaking of, perhaps, the most liked Romanian alcoholic beverage, enjoyed both by locals and tourists. Profoundly attached to the local culture and customs, țuica is obtained by fermenting prunes, usually by the start of autumn and, depending by how long the fermentig process takes, the spirit may contain between 30% to 60% of alcohol. When the process ends, the winter season is just starting, so it may be enjoyed by everyone, alongside warm food.

They young ones must learn to master the process of making țuica from the elders, so it will preserve the tradition for future generations.

Yes, you can find this drink in every Romanian’s home.
How to preserve and pass on cultural heritage to younger generations?
The best way is to expose the younger generation from a very early age, to the cultural heritages
What is the way to give our knowledge to younger generations (educational system, youth festivals and holidays)?
Perhaps the best way is to involve them, not only just to watch a movie about it and that’s it.

Am să vă prezint cea mai faimoasă băutură din România, țuica. Originile etimologice ale cuvântului țuică sunt în cel mai bun caz neclare dar, ce știm cu certitudine, este că vorbim de o băutură alcoolică autohtonă, specific românească, obținută prin fermentarea prunelor. Profund atașată de obiceiurile locale, posibil de secole, fermentarea prunelor începe odată cu debutul iernii și, funcție de timpul și procesul de macerare, băutura rezultată poate avea între 30 și 60 de grade. Odată cu festivitățile de iarnă, țuica este nelipsită de pe masa oricărui român autentic.

Pentru că este prezentă în fiecare moment important din viața unui roman.

Cei tineri trebuie să învețe procesul de producere a țuicii de la bătrâni, astfel vor conserva tradiția pentru generațile următoare

tinere?
Cea mai bună metodă este aceea de a expune generația tânără de la o vârstă foarte fragedă, la comorile culturale.
Care este modalitatea de a transmite cunoștințele noastre generațiilor
mai tinere (sistem educațional, festivaluri și sărbători pentru
tineret)?
Probabil că cea mai bună metodă este să îi implicăm direct, nu doar să îi punem să urmărească un film și atât.

Ich werde euch das wohl berühmteste rumänische Getränk vorstellen, die Țuică. Auch wenn die etymologischen Ursprünge des Wortes „Țuică“ nicht genau bekannt sind, so ist doch klar, dass es sich um das vielleicht beliebteste rumänische alkoholische Getränk handelt, das sowohl von Einheimischen als auch von Touristen genossen wird. Die tief mit der lokalen Kultur und den Bräuchen verbundene Țuică wird durch die Gärung von Pflaumen gewonnen, in der Regel zu Beginn des Herbstes. Je nachdem, wie lange der Gärungsprozess dauert, kann die Spirituose zwischen 30 % und 60 % Alkohol enthalten. Wenn der Herstellungsprozess abgeschlossen ist, beginnt gerade die Wintersaison, so dass er von allen, begleitet von warmen Speisen, genossen werden kann.
