Description
Hello, I’m Miljana. I come from a small village, near the border with Romania. I spent my whole childhood with my grandmother, who was engaged in crocheting. It is one of the old crafts, which was passed down in our family. In addition to crocheting, my grandmother also made tapestries. A tapestry is, to put it simply, a drawing on fabric with a needle and thread. In that way, a picture was obtained, which can be framed. I loved times where my grandmother would sit down and tie or crochet. She would tell me old kids stories, while doing that. These handicrafts are passed down through the generations, each generation adds something of its own and passes it on to the next.

Zdravo, ja sam Miljana. Dolazim iz jednog malog sela, blizu granice sa Rumunijom. Celo moje detinjstvo provela sam uz baku, koja se bavila heklanjem. To je jedan od starih zanata, koji se prenosio u našoj porodici. Pored heklanja, baka je i pravila goblene. Goblen je, najjednostavnije rečeno, crtanje po tkanini, iglom i koncem. Na taj način dobija se slika, koja se može uramiti. Volela sam kad moja baka sedne i veze ili hekla. Tada bi mi pričala priče. Ovi ručni radovi se prenose kroz generacije, svaka generacije dodaje nešto svoje i prosleđuje narednim. |

Hallo, ich bin Miljana. Ich komme aus einem kleinen Dorf in der Nähe der Grenze zu Rumänien. Ich verbrachte meine ganze Kindheit mit meiner Großmutter, die sich mit Häkeln beschäftigte. Diese ist eine der alten Handwerkskünste, die in unserer Familie weitergegeben wurden. Meine Großmutter hat nicht nur gehäkelt, sondern fertigte auch Tapisseriewerke an. Die Tapisserie, um es einfach auszudrücken, ist eine Zeichnung auf Stoff mit Nadel und Faden. Auf diese Weise entsteht ein Bild, das sich einrahmen lässt. Ich liebte die Zeiten, in denen sich meine Großmutter hinsetzte und knüpfte oder häkelte. Dabei erzählte sie mir alte Kindergeschichten. Dieses Kunsthandwerk wird von Generation zu Generation weitergegeben, jede Generation fügt etwas Eigenes hinzu und reicht es an die nächste weiter.
