Description
Borangic is a very fine thread that is made with the help of silkworms.
As a child, I helped my grandmother grow silkworms in my parents’ house. Every day we fed them a lot of mulberry leaves
It all starts in a very fast-growing larval stage. To lay the thread silkworms need oak branches on which they climb and begin to wrap the silk thread making a donut. They reach maturity in 30-40 days after that the donuts are harvested. They are scalded, and with the help of a stick, the silk thread is pulled and spun.
Borangic cloth is used to make traditional products in high demand in the textile, electronics, bakery, aeronautics and surgery industries. Borangic weaves shirts, dresses, scarves, shawls, tablecloths, towels can be admired at all fairs and events oranised by folk craftsmen from all over the country.
Intention
Unfortunately, this occupation is very little preserved.
It is necessary to develop this tradition because the products are of high quality and demanded on the market.

Borangicul este un fir foarte fin de matase care se realizează cu ajutorul viermilor de mătase.
De copil, imi ajutam bunica, sa crească viermi de mătase în casa părintească. Zilnic îi hrăneam cu o cantitate foarte mare de frunze de dud.
Totul începe într-un spațiu corespunzător de la stadiul de larvă care se dezvoltă foarte rapid. Pentru a depune firul viermii de mătase au nevoie de crengi de stejar pe care se urcă și încep să înfășoare firul de mătase, făcând gogoașa. Ajung la maturitate în 30-40 de zile după care se culeg gogoșile. Acestea se opăresc, iar cu ajutorul unui bețisor se trage firul de mătase și se filează.
Din pânza de borangic se fac produse tradiționale la mare căutare în industria textilă, electronică, industria de panificație, aeronautică, chirurgie. Din borangic se țes ii, cămași, rochii, marame, șaluri, fețe de masă, prosoape care pot fi admirate la toate târgurile și manifestările meșterilor populari din întreaga țară.

Borangic ist ein sehr feiner Faden, der mit Hilfe von Seidenraupen hergestellt wird.
Als Kind habe ich meiner Großmutter geholfen, im Haus meiner Eltern Seidenraupen zu züchten. Wir habe sie jeden Tag mit Maulbeerblättern gefüttert.
Die Herstellung von Seide beginnt mit Larven, die sehr schnell wachsen. Um den Faden der Seidenraupe zu legen, brauchen sie Eichenäste, auf denen die Larven klettern und anfangen, den Seidenfaden zu einem Donut zu wickeln. Nach 30-40 Tagen sind die Fäden reif und werden geerntet. Sie werden gebrüht, und mit Hilfe eines Stocks wird der Seidenfaden anschließend gezogen und gesponnen.
Aus Borangic-Stoff werden vorallem traditionelle Produkte hergestellt, die in der Textil-, Elektronik-, Bäckerei-, Luftfahrt- und Chirurgie-Industrie sehr gefragt sind. In Borangic werden Hemden, Kleider, Schals, Tücher, Tischdecken und Handtücher gewebt, die auf den Messen und Veranstaltungen von Volkskunsthandwerkern aus dem ganzen Land bewundert werden können.

Leider ist dieses Handwerk sehr wenig erhalten.
Es ist notwendig, diese Tradition weiterzuentwickeln, denn die Produkte sind von hoher Qualität und auf dem Markt gefragt.
