“The
Feast of the Dripavata Banitsa” is a culinary folklore festival, which in
a short time established itself as an event with an original and extremely
interesting character for a wide range of people. In 2019 it was attended by
approximately 1000 people, and in 2020 won a competition for ” ‘Bulgaria’s
favorite festival“.
Banitsa is a
traditional Bulgarian dish, which consists of rolled or arranged in layers
sheets of rolled dough or ready-made banitsa crusts. It is usually baked in an oven. The filling
can be different – sweet or salty, but most often it is made with eggs and Bulgarian feta cheese.
The format
of the feast consist of two categories:
-Culinary
part – the participants present banitsas from their region of Bulgaria (at the
last edition in 2019 we had participants from 37 settlements in 8 districts in
Bulgaria, who presented approximately 200 different types of banitsas).
-Folklore
part – the participating groups present the folklore richness of their region
(songs, dances, customs).

Intention
There is hardly anyone who can refute the claim
that Bulgarian cuisine is one of the richest and most diverse in the world.
Nevertheless, when mentioning the phrase traditional Bulgarian dish, most of us
have the image of the banitsa in their mind.
There are dishes whose taste we should not forget,
because they are BULGARIAN! There are recipes that we are obliged to pass on to
future generations, because they remind us of childhood and cozy family moments
that we will always remember. They are part of the Bulgarian national cuisine!
Every big
holiday in Bulgaria is invariably connected with the banitsa.
From ancient times, this dish gathers the family
around the table.
The banitsa “reigns” on the Bulgarian
table, in all seasons of the year.
The banitsa – a wonderful memory of our childhood.
That is why we organize and celebrate this feast.
To be remembered and transmitted !!!
Not to forget our folklore, our traditions and our nationality. For us to exist as a nation!

’Празника на дрипавата баница’’ е кулинарен фолклорен фестивал ,който за кратко време се наложи като събитие с оригинален и изключително интересен за широк кръг от хора характер. През 2019 беше посетен от приблизително 1000 човека, а през 2020г спечели конкурс за ‘’Най-любим фестивал на България’’).
Баницата е традиционно българско ястие, което се състои от навити или наредени на пластове листи разточено тесто или готови кори за баница. Обикновенно се пече във фурна. Плънката може да бъде различна – сладка или солена, но най-често е с яйца и сирене.
Форматът на празника се състои от две категории:
–Кулинарна част – участниците представят баници от съответния регион на България (на последното издание през 2019г. имахме участници от 37 населени места на 8 области в България, които представиха приблизително 200 различни вида баница).
–Фолклорна част – участващите колективи представят фолклорното богатство на съответния регион (песни,танци,обичаи).

Намерение
Надали има човек, който да обори твърдението, че българската кухня е една от най-богатите и разнообразните в света. И въпреки това, при споменаване на словосъчетанието традиционно българско ястие, при повечето от нас изниква спомена за баницата.
Има ястия ,чиито вкус не бива да забравяме…, защото са БЪЛГАРСКИ! Има рецепти, които сме длъжни да предадем на следващите поколения,з ащото ни напомнят за детсвото и уютните семейни мигове, които винаги ще помним.Те са част от българската национална кухня!
Големите празници в България , са неизменно свързани с баницата.
От стари времена,тя събира семейството около софрата.
Баницата,която ‘’царува ‘’на трапезата на българина, през всичките сезони на годината.
Баницата- прекрасния спомен от детството ни.
Затова ние организираме и провеждаме този празник.

Das “Fest der zerlumpten Baniza” ist ein kulinarisches Folklorefest, das sich in kurzer Zeit als eine Veranstaltung mit originellem und äußerst interessantem Charakter für eine breite Bevölkerungsschicht etabliert hat. Im Jahr 2019 wurde es von etwa 1000 Menschen besucht, und 2020 gewann es den Wettbewerb “Das beliebteste Festival Bulgariens”.)
Banitsa ist ein traditionelles bulgarisches Gericht, das aus gerollten oder geschichteten Teigblättern oder fertigen Banitsa-Krusten besteht. Es wird gewöhnlich im Backofen gebacken. Die Füllung kann unterschiedlich sein – süß oder herzhaft, aber meistens besteht sie aus Eiern und Käse.
Das Format des Festes besteht aus zwei Kategorien:
-Kulinarischer Teil – die Teilnehmer präsentieren Torten aus der jeweiligen Region Bulgariens (bei der letzten Ausgabe 2019 hatten wir Teilnehmer 37 Orte aus 8 Bezirken in Bulgarien, die etwa 200 verschiedene Arten von Torten präsentierten).
-Folkloreteil – die teilnehmenden Kollektive präsentieren den folkloristischen Reichtum der jeweiligen Region (Lieder, Tänze, Bräuche).

Absicht
Es gibt kaum jemanden, der die Behauptung widerlegen könnte, dass die bulgarische Küche eine der reichhaltigsten und vielfältigsten der Welt ist. Und doch denken die meisten von uns bei der Erwähnung des Begriffs traditionelles bulgarisches Gericht an die Banitsa.
Es gibt Gerichte, deren Geschmack wir nicht vergessen sollten… weil sie BULGARISCH sind! Es gibt Rezepte, die wir unbedingt an die nächsten Generationen weitergeben müssen, weil sie uns an unsere Kindheit und an gemütliche Familienmomente erinnern.
Die großen Feiertage in Bulgarien sind immer mit der Banitsa verbunden.
Seit jeher bringt es die Familie am Tisch zusammen.
Banitsa, die auf dem Tisch der Bulgaren zu jeder Jahreszeit “regiert”.
Banitsa – die wunderbare Erinnerung an unsere Kindheit.
Deshalb organisieren und veranstalten wir dieses Fest.
