Description
The traditional costume of Maramures stands out for its sober, restrained elegance, it is unitary and has “a completely original character, with specific elements that we do not find in other areas” (T. Bănățeanul, 1965).
The accessories of the women’s costume are the “expensive collar” (coral beads) or the “zgărdanele” (small beaded fabrics around the neck). There is also a matching bracelet on the hand.
The models of the collars are old and originate from the Maramureş area.
Intention
I am proud to wear these wonderful accessories, necklaces and bracelets from the Maramureş area. I wear them on various special occasions and match them with the outfit.
Descriere
Portul maramureșean se remarcă prin eleganță sobră, reținută, este unitar și are „un caracter cu totul original, cu elemente specifice pe care nu le găsim în alte zone” (T. Bănățeanul, 1965).
Accesorile costumului femeiesc sunt „zgarda scumpă” (mărgele de corali) sau zgărdanele (țesături de mărgele mici în jurul gâtului). De asemenea, la mână se poartă o brăţară asortată.
Modelele zgărdanelor sunt vechi şi originare din zona Maramureşului.
Intenție
Sunt mândră să port aceste accesorii minunate, zgărdane şi brăţări din zona Maramureşului. Le port în diferite ocazii speciale şi le asortez cu ţinuta.
